Clear your sidewalks; it’s common courtesy

Yes, winter in all of its glory is with us, and for some, that brings much disdain. With its continuation, it will bring us snow and ice. That is a given. At times, another byproduct of winter is homeowners who turn a blind eye to their snowy sidewalks. Many people like myself work out during the winter by walking or running, or continue to exercise their four-legged family members throughout the season.

If you have a sidewalk, please be considerate and keep it clear of show and ice. If you have a service to clear your driveway, please inform them of the need to clear your sidewalks. Also, do not forget the mail carriers. Please help to make their job easier and keep a path open for them. These safety considerations are most welcomed by people you may never see but they, like me, thank you in advance for your kindness.
