Illegal immigrants should not drive
I am outraged. Every citizen taxpayer in the state of Illinois should be outraged at our legislators for passing a law allowing illegal aliens to obtain a driver's license. An estimated 80,000 vehicle accidents a year are caused by illegal aliens. My dear wife was a victim when her car was struck from behind. She was physically injured and had to be taken to a hospital.
Republicans and Democrats who voted for this law should be voted out. Part of their rational was to help illegals get to work. But they are not supposed to be employed at all. Employers face stiff fines or criminal charges if caught hiring them. The politicians who voted for this new law are facilitating the process whereby millions of people are entering and staying in the U.S.
Let's face it, illegal aliens are law breakers and should be treated as such: no driving privileges, no free education, no free food stamps and no free medical treatment. If we cut their benefits, we cut their life support. They will go back home. And the citizen taxpayer will be much better off. Maybe it would free up some funds to pay off the ridiculous pension obligations.
Here is the scenario for the future. Illegal aliens get their driver's license. They can't afford to buy a car, so the citizen taxpayer through the government will buy them one. They can't afford to purchase the mandated insurance so the citizen taxpayer through the government will pay for it. Shame on the legislators who voted for this law.
