Hoffman Estates teen charged with stealing $584 in liquor

Hoffman Estates police have charged a Hoffman Estates teen with stealing almost $600 in liquor from Mariano's while her 2-year-old son was riding along in the shopping cart.

Eboney J. Robinson, 19, of the 1700 block of Marquette Lane, was arrested around 1:10 p.m. Jan. 18 at Mariano's, 2575 W. Golf Road, and charged with felony retail theft.

Police reports said she placed bottles of liquor valued at $584 into a shopping cart and left without paying. Robinson's 2-year-old son was turned over to her mother, reports added.
