Dist. 79 to hold kindergarten registration

Fremont Elementary District 79 hosts a kindergarten preregistration information night on Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Elementary School gymnasium, 8908 North Fremont Center Road, Mundelein. Hours are: 6 p.m. for children whose last name begins with A through L; 7 p.m. for children whose last name begins with M through Z. Any child 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1 is eligible. Parents are asked to bring the child's original certified county birth certificate, with the seal affixed. Parents who are new to the district or do not have any children enrolled will need to bring proof of residency. Two of the following four items are required: Closing documents on a home; Receipt of rent paid; Driver's license with current address; Utility bill with current address.
