Des Plaines accepting social service grant applications

Des Plaines is now accepting grant applications from social service agencies that seek funding to supplement their programs. Each year, the city allocates funds for local social service agencies that address critical needs of residents. In 2012, the city awarded grants to 24 agencies through its Social Service Fund. The 2013 social service funding applications are available at desplaines.org/HHS. Applications are due by Friday, March 29.
