Lincolnshire names finance director

The village of Lincolnshire has named Michael Peterson as its new finance director. He will replace Stan Roelker, who is retiring after more than 24 years in the job. The finance director is responsible for the village's day-to-day financial operation, including budgeting, auditing, and water billing. The finance department includes two full-time employees and one part-time employee. Village Manager Brad Burke said Peterson most recently was finance director for the village of Grayslake for 13 years. He has a bachelor's in accounting from Bradley University and more than 27 years' experience in municipal finance.
