Folk duo Stevenson and Siemsen to harmonize in Gurnee

The Lake County Folk Club will present a performance by Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at The In-Laws Restaurant, 720 Milwaukee Ave., Gurnee.

Performing on guitar, harp, dulcimer and piano, Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen’s delicate harmonies and moving original songs have earned them a loyal audience throughout the Midwest and beyond. Warm your hearts with homespun stories and songs of humor, nature, and everyday life.

Opening will be longtime club member Brett Johnson, a folk singer, ukulelist, and guitarist with a wide variety of styles, from traditional and beyond.

Admission is $12 (suggested donation), $10 for seniors and members, $5 for teens. Call (847) 602-8882 by noon on the day of the concert for reservations.

The Lake County Folk Club is in its 21st year of presenting the finest regional and national folk acts in concert. The club has activities most Sundays; other upcoming activities include an open stage event on Jan. 13 and a song circle on Jan. 27.
