The bears who don’t beat anyone

This is a story about a family of bears who were having marital problems. After many months they decided to get a divorce.

In court the judge was about to grant the divorce but wasn’t sure what to do with Baby Bear, so he asked Baby Bear if he wanted to live with Papa Bear and Baby Bear said “no, he beats me.” The judge then asked Baby Bear if he wanted to live with Mama Bear and he said “no, she also beats me.”

The judge looked perplexed and then he asked Baby Bear who he wanted to live with and he said “The Chicago Bears” because they don’t beat anyone.

On Dec. 16th I was looking for payback (my birthday, 72nd), but as usual we fell short. To add insult to injury, my daughter who lives in Minneapolis sent me a birthday gift — a Green Bay coffee mug. Cute kid.

Health and happiness to one and all on the upcoming year.
