We have gone from a republic promoting individual responsibility, freedom, and rule of law, to a mob rule democracy/oligarchy engaged in economic class warfare and the politics of envy. Productive individuals and capital will find another home. Britain tried taxing higher-income people, and guess what? They left and tax revenue went down. France is in the midst of experiencing the same phenomena, and I guess we will be next.
