One injured in I-88 rollover

One person was hospitalized after a rollover crash on I-88 Wednesday, officials said.

Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Jim Bateman said the accident occurred Wednesday afternoon on westbound I-88 near Route 53.

He said the minivan was found on the shoulder, but he did not know how it rolled over. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The male driver was transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville with minor injuries, Bateman said. There were no passengers in the vehicle.

A spokesman for the Illinois State Police said he did not know if any citations were issued.
