By Daily Herald report

The Lee Street ramp onto the eastbound Jane Addams Tollway in Rosemont has reopened since a car crashed Monday morning into a guard rail while driving onto the interstate. Crews also finished cleaning up a fuel spill left after the crash by early afternoon.

The driver, a 63-year-old male who has not been identified, apparently suffered a medical episode, such as a heart attack, just before the crash occurred about 8:46 a.m., said Illinois State Police Sgt. Tim Moore.

State police responded along with the Rosemont Fire Department, which transported the driver to Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Moore said.
