Batavia

• Six spools of No. 10 copper wire and six spools of No. 12 copper wire were stolen at the construction site of the Chick-fil-A restaurant, 185 N. Randall Road, it was reported at 9:54 a.m. Friday, police said.

• John A. Cunningham, 48, of the 700 block of West Fabyan Parkway, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. Sunday at his home, according to Batavia police. He was charged with felony armed violence — using a Class III weapon, and aggravated battery of a victim 60 or older, police said. He was also charged with misdemeanor domestic battery (making physical contact) and interfering with a report of domestic battery.

• Ryan M. Kitowski, 20, of the 400 block of Elm Street, was charged at 10:40 p.m. Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to a police report.
