Decorate a holiday snowman in Elk Grove Village

The holiday season is quickly approaching, and the Elk Grove Park District has created an exciting way for you to show off your holiday spirit.

This year, the Elk Grove Park District is constructing four-foot wooden snowmen especially for you to decorate. These two-dimensional snowmen stand upright, making them easy to customize. Once decorated, they will line the halls of the Pavilion.

All snowmen cost $35 and must be purchased and decorated before Tuesday, Dec. 11. The sooner you call to purchase one, the better, as supplies are limited.

In addition to brightening up the Pavilion for the month of December, these snowmen will also be the focal point of the park district’s fifth annual Santa’s Story Time event that is scheduled to take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Best of all, once the month of December has passed and all of the holiday decorations have been taken down, your department or organization will get to keep its snowman, providing lasting memories for years to come.

If your organization decides to purchase a snowman, contact Shannon Elsey at (847) 690-1184 or selsey@elkgroveparks.org.
