Voters indeed need more info

text size: AAA

As I was reading the letter from Richard Sobel of Wilmette, titled "Looking for more guidance in election," I cheered "Hear, hear!" I startled my husband, who was reading the sports section and sipping his morning coffee. Mr. Sobel's letter echoed my exasperation perfectly. He mentions that other communities offer better guidelines to finding background information on candidates and referendums. Where can we look for these? I would certainly like to see what groups are behind offering that information to their voters, and approach similar groups or organizations in Cook County to take this task on.
