Lindenhurst assistant administrator

Emily Palm has been selected from more than 50 applicants as assistant village administrator in Lindenhurst. In her current post as assistant to the city manager in Highland Park, she has overseen communications and media relations efforts, coordinated the electrical aggregation program and developed environmental initiatives. In Lindenhurst, she will assist in various areas including economic development and business retention, financial management and reporting, business retention and risk management. She starts in Lindenhurst on Dec. 17. She replaced Karl Warwick who held the position for three years before leaving in September to become the village administrator for Fox River Grove.
