Arlington Heights bank robbery linked to other robberies

A bank robbery in Arlington Heights on Black Friday has been linked to four other recent bank robberies in the area.

At 10:10 a.m. Friday the suspect entered Glenview State Bank, 1808 S. Arlington Heights Road, and presented a note implying he had a weapon. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI used surveillance footage to tie that robbery to four others — in Rolling Meadows, Park Ridge, and two in Chicago — in the last few months.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect in these robberies, but the FBI declined to name that person or provide any further information.
