Kane County

• Copper piping was stolen from a home for sale on the 39W700 block of Jericho Road near Aurora between noon Nov. 14 and 1 p.m. Monday, according to a sheriff's report. Two water softeners also were damaged.

• Someone hit a golf ball into a window of a home on the 38W200 block of Heritage Oaks Drive near St. Charles at about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 16, causing an estimated $200 damage, according to a sheriff's report.

• Tomas Jaquez, 27, of the 400 block of East Park Avenue, Aurora, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 9:14 a.m. Sunday at West Benton Street and Woodlawn Avenue near Aurora, according to a sheriff's report.
