Experience a mini winter wonderland at "Artistry at St. Martin's" from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. The church is located at 1095 Thacker St., Des Plaines. The craft show and sale will include ceramics, handmade jewelry, miscellaneous crafts, a bake sale and pie raffle. Proceeds will benefit St. Martin's and provide an opportunity to buy unique gifts for the holiday season and Thanksgiving Day desserts. The owner of "Thirty-One Bags" is donating 10 percent of all sales that day to the church. Browsers are welcome. Coffee, tea and apple cider will be served. The 65-year-old church provides a monthly meal to the hungry in Des Plaines from May through September, and coats and food to the Des Plaines Self Help Closet and Christmas gifts and toys. This year, 75 coats were donated to the self-help closet.
