Buffalo Grove leads in ‘Fill the Boot’ effort
The Buffalo Grove Fire Department collected $24,047 this year for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This is the 16th consecutive year the department has collected the largest amount of any group during the “Fill the Boot” campaign in Lake and Northern Cook counties. Buffalo Grove is the first village in Illinois to collect over $300,000. MDA will be making a plaque presentation to the fire department at the village board meeting tonight.
