Why would everyone work together now?

Well it is finally over, the president has been granted a second term, and no matter which side of the fray you were on, you have to breath a sigh of relief. I woke up Wednesday morning and immediately realized the TV ads were gone, I have referred to it as "noise pollution."

We are left with memories of the endless negative remarks and accusations, the thousands of yard signs which will take weeks if not months to disappear.

It is now 5 a.m. Wednesday and I have already heard comments from various candidates talking about "compromise, honest deliberation and more," and if there could be why now after the election?  Can there be a reversal on attitudes of working together, when there have been nothing but negative streams of commentary created by the armies of candidate staff members. Well, as the old saying goes, "the proof is in the pudding."

See you at the next election.
