Elk Grove TV premieres new park district show

Elk Grove Television Station Channel 6 is adding a new show to its lineup that highlights Elk Grove Park District programs, events, facilities, staff and the parks themselves.

“A Walk in the Park” is produced and directed by Debbi Dennison, cable producer, and Rob Vicicondi, production assistant, for EGTV. The show premieres at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Channel 6 plans to produce three to four shows a year.

The first episode tackles fitness and healthy lifestyles in a magazine format featuring a local park, the Pavilion Fitness Center, a fitness class, and special services available for the public. Diane Malinowski, public relations manager for the Elk Grove Park District, will host the show. Over the years, EGTV Channel 6 has produced several commercials and shows for the Elk Grove Park District.
