The seniors at Oak Hill Supportive Living Community in Round Lake Beach are collecting pet supplies and donations for the thousands of pets and their owners affected by Hurricane Sandy in the New Jersey area. The seniors are asking the Round Lake Beach community to donate dog and cat food, blankets, pet toys and money. The seniors will collect, package and ship the pet gifts to the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Donations can be dropped off any time now through Nov. 17 at the front entrance of Oak Hill at 76 E. Rollins Road, Round Lake Beach.
