• Justin M. Long, 32, of the 1300 block of West Morse Avenue in Chicago, faces a theft charge alleging he stole someone's watch in mid-October, police said. According to police reports, the Brera watch is worth $800. Reports said Long was in the victim's house to clean the chimney, took the watch and sold it on Craigslist. Long's bail was set at $20,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 21 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
• A gas station on the 100 block of Lake Marian Road was burglarized early Monday morning, and cigarettes were stolen, police said. According to police, entry was made by throwing a rock through the top portion of the station's glass door.
• Credit cards were stolen from an unlocked car parked on the 0-99 block of Oxford Road on Monday, police said. According to reports, the stolen credit cards already were being used.
