I am writing to express my strong support for Sid Mathias for representative in the 59th state House District.

I have known Sid Mathias for over a decade. Sid is a fighter against the cronyism and corruption that gives our state a black eye and make us a laughingstock on late night talk shows. His integrity and work ethic are unquestioned. He works for the people, not the special interest groups that want to control legislation in Springfield, pushing backroom deals to get what they want.

We should send Rep. Mathias back to Springfield to continue his fight to lower taxes in the state, and bring real reform to the way government in Illinois works. He is a no-nonsense leader who doesn't pull any punches, letting his constituents as well as his fellow lawmakers know exactly where he stands on the issues. Mathias also doesn't duck any issues. He knows we need to address pension reform and other issues head-on to get things turned around here in Illinois. I am confident he will get the job done on our behalf.

We have had "business as usual" for far too long in this state. We need someone who will stand up to special interests and politicians out for their own personal gain. We need someone who puts our interests first. We need Sid Mathias representing us in Springfield.
