The Service Club offers refreshments while you wait for the appearance of the Headless Horseman, which includes hot dogs, hot cocoa and cider, water, apple and pumpkin pie, and all the chili from the contest.
All are welcome to enter the chili contest. Find the chili cook off contest entry form for more information at www.sleepy-hollow.il.us/sc-events/.
The chili contests starts at 3 p.m., costume parade starts at 4:15 p.m. and food sales and pumpkin decorating begin at 3:30 p.m. At twilight, the immense bonfire is set ablaze, followed by the ride of the Headless Horseman.
