Mitt’s legacy with Bain

With it being election season there has been a lot of debate surrounding the government’s role in creating jobs. Conservatives argue that it is not the government’s role to create jobs but then go on to blame President Obama for the unemployment rate.

The man challenging Obama for his job, Mitt Romney, claims that he has a plan to create jobs. However, Romney’s history does not provide Americans with a comforting record. He was one of the founders of Bain Capital, a company that buys other companies with the attempt to make them more profitable through actions such as layoffs and outsourcing. Even though Romney is no longer with the company, the legacy of his time at Bain still lives on. Is this Romney’s plan to create jobs?
