Hoffman Estates pet licenses need to be renewed
Pet licenses for dogs and cats in Hoffman Estates must be renewed before Thursday, Nov. 1. All pets that are six months or older must be licensed, including foster pets. Residents fostering dogs or cats also must obtain a pet license. A copy of a veterinarian statement that says the dog or cat has been vaccinated for rabies is required. Pet tags are available for $5 each, or $2 for senior citizens’ pet tags, limit two. Tags can be purchased at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
