Submitted by Hoffman Estates

Pet licenses for dogs and cats in the village of Hoffman Estates must be renewed before Thursday, Nov. 1. They are currently on sale.

All pets that are six months old must be licensed, including foster pets. Residents fostering dogs or cats must obtain a pet license for each animal regardless of the length of time the animal is fostered. Pet licenses cannot be transferred to another foster animal after they have found their forever home.
