Taxpayers behind Romney’s generosity

text size: AAA

I don't know how Mitt Romney supporters can gush about Mitt Romney's "generosity," considering a good portion of $4 million given in "charity" was probably money denied to U.S. tax coffers — courtesy of financial contortions generated by Cayman Island and other offshore tax haven bank accounts. So, while I also consider it generous, it's the U.S. taxpayer that should be lauded for this generosity, not Mitt Romney.
