Batavia
• Lew's Drive-In, 1105 N. Washington Ave., was burglarized between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report. Someone broke a door window, messed up the restaurant, damaged a telephone box, cut or tore telephone lines and damaged a cash register.
• Furniture was stolen in the 0-99 block of North Washington Avenue, it was reported to police at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday.
• Zachery T. Duncan, 18, of the 9400 block of Commons Drive in Hickory Hills, was charged with felony aggravated assault at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., according to a police report. He also was charged with misdemeanor resisting a peace officer. He was being held in the Kane County jail on $25,000 bail. No other details were available from police.
• Somebody burglarized a condominium in the 200 block of North Water Street, it was reported to police at 3:22 p.m. Monday. No other details were available from police.
