Masquerade Ball to raise funds for Performing Arts Academy

Fox Valley Repertory invites the community to "Party at the Roundhouse" as they celebrate their community and the arts during the third annual Masquerade Ball, a fundraiser for the Performing Arts Academy.

In celebration of the growth and success of the Performing Arts Academy, Fox Valley Repertory invites all ages to dress up and attend the Masquerade Ball from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway, Aurora. There will be food, DJ dance party, face painting, a haunted trail, costume contest, silent auction, fun balloon prizes, student performances and more. Silent auction items include: Walt Disney World 4 One-Day Park Hopper passes, tickets to Blue Man Group, local restaurant gift certificates, and more.

Dinner includes two menus, one especially for kids. For adults, Two Brothers Brewing will have a cash bar full of their own beers.

Ticket prices are $40 for adults and $20 for students, under age 19. Ticket purchases and donations can be made online at www.foxvalleyrep.org/masquerade. Tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets by phone or for more information, call (630) 443-0438.

The Fox Valley Repertory Performing Arts Academy is a nonprofit organization and features some of the Chicago area's most respected teachers, directors, actors and musicians. It is home to more than 1,000 local youth students and offers the most extensive curriculum in the Fox Valley area: classes, camps, workshops, youth ensemble productions, and internship/apprenticeship programs. Since 2006, the Performing Arts Academy has had over 2,800 student enrollments, offered over 250 individual classes in a variety of disciplines and presented 20 Youth Ensemble shows on the Pheasant Run Mainstage.
