The adult fee for the 5K is $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the race. Other fees are lower.

The walk is in honor of Paul Schmidt, who was almost 22 when he died in 2008 from sudden unexplained death in epilepsy (SUDEP).

Paul's Run is partnering with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. The group's focus is to provide support, advocacy, and educational services to those affected by epilepsy.

For more information, visit the run's website, paulsrunforepilepsy.org.
