Tickets still available for Shelter Trivia Night

Friends of Shelter will host a Trivia Night fundraising event on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Queen of the Rosary Church, 690 W. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village.

Shelter Inc. is a nonprofit child welfare agency providing emergency and longer term housing for children in the Northwest suburbs who are abused, neglected, dependent or in need of supervision.

Friends of Shelter is a group raising funds and awareness to support Shelter’s programs and services.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m. Teams of eight will compete for prizes for the most correct answers.

There will be a silent auction and raffles throughout the evening. Participants can register a team of eight or can register individually and all are welcome to bring in their own food and beverages.

The cost for a team of eight is $160 and individual registrations are $25.
