Register your preschooler at Immanuel Lutheran in Batavia

Immanuel Lutheran School, 950 Hart Road in Batavia, opens enrollment for new preschool class offerings beginning Nov. 7 for the 2013-2014 school year. It has been preparing children for grade school since 1989.

Preschoolers at Immanuel are taught the essentials for school readiness in a Christian environment. In addition to focusing on language arts and mathematics, preschoolers at Immanuel have the opportunity to attend field trips, sing in the choir, and be a part of the annual preschool Christmas worship.

Another important aspect of the preschool experience includes Bible stories, songs, and prayers.

Immanuel pays close attention to the emerging fine motor skills of young children. Students learn correct pencil grip and engage in letter writing practice. Gross motor skills are developed through outdoor play as well as indoor play in Immanuel’s Family Life Center gymnasium.

Three-day morning classes for 3- and 4-year-olds are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Two-day classes for 3- and 4-year-olds are offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings. A four-day class for 4- and 5-year-olds is offered Monday through Thursday afternoon.

The 2013-2014 school year brings new class offerings at Immanuel. Children ages 3 to 5 will have the option of extending their morning classes to a full day through Combo Enrichment classes, which begin at 11:15 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Immanuel also offers full-day kindergarten.

Immanuel Lutheran School also offers kindergarten through eighth grade. School begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Before and after care are available. Immanuel Lutheran School welcomes students of all races, creeds, national, and ethnic origins.
