A new LongHorn Steakhouse -- the 10th in Illinois -- opened Monday at 1901 E. Golf Road in Schaumburg.

"Schaumburg is excited that the Darden Restaurant Group has added yet another of their successful brands, LongHorn Steakhouse, to our community," Mayor Al Larson said in a news release. "Darden's other concepts in Schaumburg include Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Seasons 52. We look forward to LongHorn Steakhouse attracting locals and visitors to this site as well as joining the Schaumburg food hub of over 200 diverse restaurants."
