Scotland set to host 40th Ryder Cup

The 40th Ryder Cup returns to what is considered the birthplace of golf — Scotland.

That’s where the American and European teams will battle for the next Ryder cup trophy, a modest award that dates to 1927 and stands 17 inches high and weighs 4 pounds.
