Downtown BG plan a disaster in making

The plan that CRM Properties Group has for the golf course area is a rerun of the Town Center plan. I cannot believe you, as our trustees, are trying to do this to us again.

We have many vacant stores. We have many vacant houses. You are taking land away designated as wetlands to prevent flooding, putting more store owners out of business, causing more congestion and taking away the few beautiful open spaces we have left in Buffalo Grove.

This shouldn’t happen at a time when our economy is struggling and Buffalo Grove cannot sustain more housing and businesses.

I know you are drooling over this project. Is it because you will make money off of it or move into it that you are pushing this forward? I hope this isn’t the case. I hope that you are truly representing the people who voted for you.
