Driver airlifted from Kaneville crash
A driver was airlifted from the scene of a crash in Kaneville Sunday night, according to police.
The Kaneville Fire Protection District responded to the scene of the single vehicle crash on Dauberman Road south of Keslinger Road at about 7:30 p.m.
Police said the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, veered off the roadway.
Initial reports indicated the vehicle caught fire after crashing.
Police said the driver was airlifted to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The Kane County sheriff's department is investigating the crash.
No further information was available Sunday night.
