Ms. Niesman asked in her Sept. 14 commentary “Roskam, Ryan two peas in a pod,” which by the way was weak on facts and strong on conjecture, “If you are at all concerned that Paul Ryan might be a heartbeat away from the presidency.”

When it comes to fear about someone being a heartbeat away from the presidency I have two words for Ms. Niesman: Joe Biden.

Obama’s claim that waste and abuse reductions will save $716 billion is smoke and mirrors similar to all his growth stifling policies. Can you say $16 billion deficit? You have to pay for that, you know.
