Seniors shouldn’t have to pay so much
I am retired and living on a fixed income. My taxes have gone up considerably in the last two years. I appealed two years ago and won, only to still see my taxes go up.
I have lived here for 48 years. There were not a bunch of retired seniors to help pay my taxes back then. I had three children in school, so I felt it was my fair share. I do not think I should have to pay so much for the schools and the pensions. Why is that my responsibility? I don’t have a pension. Thank you for your time.
