SCHAUMBURG -- Commercial security and life safety systems integrators Convergint Technologies said it has partnered with KRG Capital Partners. Convergint said the partnership is expected to increase its growth and pursue acquisitions to expand its geographic coverage and business.
The company, which is focused on electronic security, fire and life safety, and building automation. said it has grown during its 11-year history with 21 percent year over year growth during the recession.

Convergint chose to partner with KRG Capital Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in partnering with management teams, following a search conducted by William Blair & Company.
