Ÿ Burglars pried the front door at a townhouse on the 1300 block of South Old Wilke Road between Sept. 3 and 13 and stole a 35 mm camera, men’s gold watch, men’s gold bracelet, and men’s gold ring with rubies and diamonds. Value was estimated at $11,700.

Ÿ Burglars pried a door at a condominium on the 0-100 block of South Dunton Avenue between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 13, ransacked rooms and stole a laptop computer, women’s white ceramic watch, silver necklace with moonstone and small diamonds, a silver ring with black onyx and diamonds, silver earrings, citrine earrings and bracelet. Value was estimated at $14,100.

Ÿ Burglars tore the screen on an open window near the front door at a home on the 2300 block of North Brighton Drive between noon and 3 p.m. Sept. 13 and stole a video-game player and iPad. Value was estimated at $950.

Ÿ Burglars stole three packs of cigarettes and a tape measure out of an unlocked BMW in an unlocked garage on the 1200 block of North Chestnut and a blue storage chest cooler and 18 bottles and cans of beer out of an unlocked garage on the 1200 block of North Walnut Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 5 a.m. Sept. 14. Value was estimated at $75.

Ÿ Burglars pried a screen on an open bedroom window at a ground-floor apartment on the 1400 block of East Central Road between 10 and 11 p.m. Sept. 16 and stole an iPod, iPad, e-reader, and two laptops. Value was estimated at $1,900.

Ÿ Thieves stole a boys’ red 10-speed bicycle out of a backyard on the 1400 block of North Race between Aug. 17 and Sept. 8. Value was estimated at $300.

Ÿ Thieves stole a men’s navy blue 21-speed bicycle and a men’s gray 7-speed bicycle locked to a bike rack at the Metra depot, 45 W. Northwest Hwy., between 10 a.m. and 10:16 p.m. Sept. 12. Value of the bikes and two locks was estimated at $820.

Ÿ Thieves stole a 3-foot by 2-foot metal-framed business sign from the parkway at Scruples Hair Technique Limited, 915 E. Rand Road, between 9 a.m. and noon Sept. 15. Value was estimated at $200.

Ÿ Thieves stole $700 out of a wallet in a pocket of a pair of pants hanging on a hook in an employee room at Mago Restaurant, 115 W. Campbell St., between 3 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25.

Ÿ Burglars broke into a 2000 Chrysler Concorde on the 600 block of East Falcon between 10 p.m. Sept. 12 and 7:35 a.m. Sept. 13 and stole a GPS unit from the dashboard. Loss was estimated at $250.

Ÿ Burglars stole an insurance card out of an unlocked 2002 Volkswagen Jetta and a set of three keys valued at $10 out of an unlocked 2012 Hyundai Sonata in a condominium lot on the 1000 block of South Fernandez between 4 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15.

Ÿ Burglars stole a purse out of an unlocked car in an open garage on the 400 block of Foxford Drive between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14.

Ÿ Thieves stole $200 out of a guest’s room at Extended Stay America, 1525 E. Busch Parkway, between 10 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. Sept. 16.

Ÿ Vandals poured a gallon of water into the gas tank of a pickup truck in a guest parking space at a residential complex on the 2400 block of Palazzo Court between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12.

Ÿ Burglars stole a purse and cellphone out of an unlocked car in an open garage on the 500 block of Cherbourg Drive around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11. Value was estimated at $600.

Ÿ Burglars stole $600 and a credit card out of the glove box in a car on the 200 block of Old Oak Drive between 3 p.m. Sept. 9 and 7 a.m. Sept. 10.
