Prospect Heights renews deal with grant consultant

Prospect Heights has renewed its contract with Grant Consultants Administrative Consulting Specialists, a company that works with the city to identify and apply for grant funding.

The city will pay $20,000 for the company’s services, which officials hope will lead to Prospect Heights receiving more than $100,000 in grants, Mayor Nick Helmer said.

Over the past fiscal year, the company helped the city receive $107,000 in grants, City Administrator Anne Marrin. The police department especially benefits from company’s work, she added.
