Lawsuit filed against Gurnee theme park

A man has filed a $30,000 lawsuit against Six Flags Great America in Gurnee after he says his daughter was injured during the theme park’s 2011 Fright Fest, published reports indicate.

According to the report, Marian Pieczonka says a character jumped out of a portable toilet, squirted the girl with a water gun and chased her, causing her to fall, resulting in scrapes, cuts and bruises.

A Six Flags Great America representative declined to comment on the lawsuit. However, in an email, spokeswoman Kathryn Enrique said “I can assure you that the safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our top priority.”
