Des Plaines police report a suspicious man talking to school students at bus stops. An 11-year-old girl told police that about 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, a man 30-40 years old driving a black pickup truck pulled up to a school bus stop on the southeast corner of Jarvis Avenue and Plainfield Drive and asked what school she went to, her age and name. She was the only student present at the time. She did not answer and ran away until the bus came. She saw the man drive to the corner of Jarvis Avenue and Westview Drive, where he appeared to be talking to students waiting for their bus, reports said.
