A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism

In a number of speeches, President Obama reiterated the coming election will determine which path we will take to America’s future. He wants to move the country “forward” to “share-the-wealth” socialism. Socialism is not a step forward; on the contrary, it’s a devastating march backward.

Socialism is not new. The early Christians tried pooling their money to “share the wealth,” but some held back part of their money, others stopped working and lived off the labor of their fellow Christians, and some complained they were not getting their fair share. And these were Christians who were expecting the imminent return of Jesus!

The Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock flirted with socialism with disastrous results. Not until Gov. Bradford allotted each family its own plot of land and the marketing of its produce did the colony survive and prosper.

We’ve seen socialism collapse the Soviet Union. Today, we see the decay of European socialistic countries. Socialism has never worked and will never work.

On the other hand, Mitt Romney wants to take the free enterprise path that built this country into the greatest, freest, wealthiest, most powerful nation in history.

Voters, make your choice on Election Day!
