Police: 19-year-old man stabbed in Lisle

A man was stabbed multiple times during a weekend fight in Lisle, and police are asking the public for help with the investigation, authorities said Tuesday.

Lisle police have interviewed witnesses and several people involved with the stabbing but do not have anyone in custody, Watch Cmdr. Ron Wilke said.

Police were called at 2:43 a.m. Sunday to a condo complex at 4500 Beau Monde Drive, where a fight had broken out in the courtyard near the swimming pool.

A 19-year-old male victim who had been stabbed multiple times during the fight was taken to a hospital, authorities said. He remained in critical condition Tuesday afternoon. Police did not immediately release the identity of the victim or provide any information about a possible suspect or suspects.

A late model light-colored Lincoln may have been involved in the incident, and police are specifically interested in any information relating to the vehicle.

“We’re interested in talking to the people that were in that Lincoln that left the scene,” Wilke said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call them at (630) 271-4200. People also can submit anonymous tips through DuPage County Crime Stoppers by calling (800) 222-8477, by text using the keyword “DuPage” to 274637 or online at dupagecrimestoppers.com.
