ID’s are required everywhere you turn

ID’s are required everywhere you turn

This is in response to Joan Ziegler, president of League of Women Voters of Glenview (“ID law would keep people from voting,” Aug. 20). I would like to know how the elderly and low-income get their government checks? College and high school kids wear an I.D. around their necks. Without an I.D. they can’t get in the building.

You need an I.D. to cash a check, to get a driver’s license, visit the doctor’s office and hospital. You also need an I.D. to get married. Even when you die you need an I.D.

How many in your league vote many times? You can get a voter’s card at the courthouse.
