Quinn’s misguided sense of justice

Quinn’s misguided sense of justice

I don’t understand some of Gov. Quinn’s solutions. OK, he wants to ban assault weapons in Illinois. No problem. He is going down the road backward.

He abolished the death penalty for those who kill. No punishment but life in jail. Free room and board, meals, cable TV. Punishment? What needs to be addressed is you get put to death for killing a human being. Show what the punishment for your actions.

So he bans these weapons. Someone doesn’t obey the law and they get caught, or kills someone. What next? Where you going to put them, Mr. Quinn, with no state correction centers or prisons? Keep cramming them in? It’s like having a guest list without the banquet hall. No plan for the big picture. Just keep taking my tax dollars to slap them on the wrist and be good?
