Police responded to the residence, which is a 2-story house that has been converted to apartment units, at 3:47 p.m. Saturday for a report of a person who wasn't breathing, according to a news release.

Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

A 34-year-old woman who was present at the scene when police arrived was detained for questioning by investigators from the major investigations division.

Police said the investigation is on going and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

More information is expected to be available once the autopsy is complete, according to police.

The man's identity was not being released by police Sunday night.
